This is a half day excursion, sailing on the Black Lake in a boat moored on the hotels beach, just few metres away from the main building, near to the spa zone. The boat will sail around the lake accompanied by a guide, making some stops at points of interest, which enable closer contact with the nature of the area. This is a relaxing activity and appropriate for every age and ability level. It will also allow you to enjoy the beauty of the hotels surroundings, where Hacienda Tres Lagos owns more than 1,300 ha.
Visit to the Marble Caves

This is a half day excursion. You will be taken by our guide in one of the hotels vehicles to Puerto Tranquilo, a little town located on the western shore of the General Carrera Lake.
The drive takes approximately 1 hour, then you are taken from one of the docks in a quiet motor launch across General Carrera Lake in order to reach the imposing marble caves, which are stony shapes moulded by the effect of time and the wind and water action, with different colours and characteristics. The boat passes into the caves allowing close up views and the full effect of what is unique and unforgettable spectacle. This activity is equally enjoyable for visitors of any age and ability.
Crossroad to Three Lakes (depending on climate conditions)

This is a very special excursion since it combines both sailing on the three surrounding lakes (Carrera, Bertrand and Black) together with some stops at sites of interest and short walks.
To start, you are transferred from the hotel by vehicle to General Carrera lake, at our private dock located in the area known as “El Maitén”, quite near to the main buildings. From this point the sailing starts aboard a 6 metres long boat with a silent gunwale motor, specially built for the Hacienda in Tortel zone, a place where the tradition of using cypress wood boats is still kept, famous for both their maritime and lake sailing capacity. The boat sails directly northwards following the west shore of General Carrera lake up to the area of the ‘footbridge’, where the lake takes the shape of a short but wide river with an impressive and strong current known as “the drainage”, becoming Bertrand lake.
At Bertrand, sailing continues southwards, following a semi circle shape that allows observation of the beautiful landscape. It is at this point where the first stop is taken in order to take photographs and rest. Later, we continue sailing now following the east side of the lake and finally arrive to the northwest section of Bertrand, where we disembark at another of the hotels private jetties.
Finally, the group will continue walking for approximately 20 minutes northwards crossing the land that separates lakes Black and Bertrand, then at the shore of Black lake load again onto another of the hotels boats at the southern shore of the lake and sail toward the hotels private beach where the excursion is completed.
